Great to drive and makes a lovely noise, very well put together and very nice interior environment.

Fuel consumption could be better, make sure you are sitting down when you find out the cost of Audi parts and servicing.

A great drivers car, perhaps a little a little flat in the steering department and with a bus like turning circle, it doesn't have the best feedback coming through the steering wheel. However the four wheel drive makes it feel like it is on rails and little encouragement from the right foot is met with speedy clockwise motion from both needles. The interior is very special with quality plastics and recaro seats you can sit back and, with the worthwhile upgrade, listen to the fantastic Bose sound system. Where things start going wrong is when you have to pay a vist to friendly mr Audi dealer who will quickly relieve you of vast sums of money whenever a warning light comes or service time is due. Also when the fuel gauge dips towards empty, Frequency of which is dependant on your right foot usage but you'll be lucky if you get 30 mpg, you will be met with that feeling of dread of another expensive trip to the pumps. All in all it is by far the cheapest Audi S badge and if you can over look the high running costs you will be well rewarded. Well mannered around town and eminently rewarding on the open road it is a pleasure to be in. It is just trips to the garage that will bring you out in cold sweats.
